Kara
Scheduling Coordinator
Kara has more than 10 years experience in the field of dentistry working in reception. She has been with Dr. Husain since 1996. Kara's commitment to dentistry shows in her strong work ethic and excellent customer service. She hopes to make you feel welcome at every visit and ensure that all your needs are met. Kara lives in Cambridge with her spouse Chris and their beautiful daughter Opal. She enjoys long walks and yoga in her free time.
Pam
Hygiene Periodontal Therapist
Pam has 20+ years of experience in dental hygiene. She has been working with Dr. Husain since 2007 when she relocated to Waterloo from her home in Thunder Bay. Pam is passionate about optimal oral health. Her goal is "good to great". She feels our dental team can offer the best dentistry and the best service available. Pam is a people person and strives to make your visit as comfortable as possible. Pam is married to a retired school teacher and has 2 children who live in the area. Her joy is spending time with her grandson. In between work and visits with family, she loves cooking and working out.
BJ
Hygiene Periodontal Therapist
BJ has been active as a Dental Hygienist for 25years. She has had experience working as a Restorative Hygienist as well as in specialty offices such as Orthodontic and Periodontal Practices. She carries a strong passion for learning and for her profession and thoroughly enjoys making lasting relationships with her clients. Along with her energetic personality, you'll likely hear her laughter echoing through the room of our office. Her hobbies are baking and running as well as many other outdoor activities. She also loves spending time with family and friends. BJ has lived in Kitchener for 20 years with her husband and 2 children.
Tanya
Chairside Clinical Assistant
Tanya has many years of experience as an assistant and has been with Dr. Husain at this office since 2007. She is very committed to her job and takes pride in trying to continuously learn more. Tanya hopes that you will always feel that you are in a great environment and thrives on making your visits as pleasurable as possible. She is fluent in Croatian and Spanish and hopes that you will tell her about any fantastic culinary experiences you may have as new and interesting foods are a passion of hers. Tanya lives in Kitchener with her spouse Jorge and their beautiful new baby girl Teah.
Stacy
Chairside Clinical Assistant
Stacy joined the Waterloo Smiles team in December of 2007, but has been working with Dr. Husain since 2003 as her chairside assistant. Stacy is a hard working and enthusiastic team member who truly enjoys making her day and yours as stress free as possible. She is there to answer any questions you may have before and after procedures and facilitate your experience in the dental chair as a positive one. Stacy is married with 2 beautiful boys, Brandon and Jordan and calls Baden her home. Stacy is a hockey and lacrosse mom and spends a lot of time at the arenas.
Kacey
Chairside Clinical Assistant
Kacey has been in dentistry since 2006 and has been a part of our team since 2007. She is casually referred to as the "maternity leave" dedicated employee, and as our families grow, Kacey has been able to make a home and a name for herself as a part of our dynamic team. Her commitment is to the children that visit the practice and is the resident expert in providing our in office whitening treatments. She hopes to make you smile and feel comfortable while you are here. She enjoys spending time with her friends and trying new adventures. Kacey is fluent in Portuguese and lives by the motto that "it takes less muscles to smile than it does to frown!"
